The Lyon Softball League is a bilingual organization of people living in Lyon, France who enjoy playing softball in an informal environment. We will be playing in Parc Parilly, in Bron. on Saturdays or Sundays.
As a member of a team, you are responsible for providing a baseball/softball glove as well as a t-shirt which represents your team's colors. You will also be asked to provide your own refreshments (water, beer, etc...)
Typically, a game will last for about 2 hours. This is a casual environment which means there is not "fastball" pitching. Regular softball rules apply. This is a means of getting out in the park on the weekends, meeting other people and having fun.
The organization will provide a meeting point in the park, four bases, bats and softballs as well as coordinating between teams and setting up, eventually, playoffs and a final.

As this is an informal league of softball enthusiasts, you are strictly responsible for making sure that you are in good health and are covered, either under the french health system or a private insurance provider. The Lyon Softball League does not provide health coverage and is not responsible for the health of any individual player or organization affiliate.
